10/10 Series | Episode 1: Growth Mindset

How do champions become the greatest in their discipline? That is the question that I hope to answer in this podcast series.

In the summer, I set myself the challenge of writing 10 blog posts and creating 10 podcasts, that accompany each other, to find out more about 10 traits that make a sporting champion.

This week, I speak to my friend, Harrison, about ‘growth mindset’. It’s a great conversation. Listen here, and check out my blog to read about Charles Leclerc, and his potential to grow into a champion.

In this episode…

Adam talks to Harrison about the importance of a 'growth mindset' to become successful in sport and in life.

First, we discuss the importance of having people that push you around you.

We then talk about self-honesty and incremental gains, and how these small things can create large changes.

Next, we touch upon consistency and the value of searching for new challenges.

Finally, Harrison explains why Michael Jordan is the epitome of the term, 'growth mindset'.
